The holding of the Local Competitions in March every year
largely constitutes the Programme. The championship teams in the Local
Competitions may be sponsored to participate in the World Finals held
in the United States.
The results of the Hong Kong teams at the World Finals have
shown a marked improvement over the past few years, with most of the teams
placing in the top ten. It was most gratifying to see that one of the
teams, Ho Fung College, was crowned World Champion in 2000.
